The only thing to fix here, is to upgrade your PC to W10 lol. It's a super stable version of Windows compared to Vista/8.1.Also W10 supports DirectX12.
Time to upgrade, my man. Don't fall behind!maybe you read, what i wrote and think about it.dying light is made for windows versions up to 8.1, not higher.and for this reason, the support 'can't' help, because i play on W10.
